The hands-on workshops conducted by Adrienne Thadani of Fresh & Local and the team at The Table will take you through cultivation methods, pest management, day to day practices needed for an intensive vegetable garden and long-term benefits of going the organic way.

Starting with a tour of the farm, guests dive into harvesting a variety of produce for The Table chefs to begin preparing a healthy and delicious lunch. Guests then move onto the second phase of the workshop which involves soil mixing and, seed transplanting. Coverings the basics of small-scale urban farming, the workshop concludes with understanding the of various aspects of the farm-to-table concept, ending with a farm themed art activity.

  • The workshop is conducted at The Table Farm in Sasawane Alibag and is for adults only.
  • We strongly recommend carrying hat, comfortable clothing, sunblock and sunglasses as this is a hands on class.
  • The transport for the workshop is via a private speed boat and rickshaw from the Mandwa jetty to the farm (10 minutes).
